congress' reaction to this pledge of allegiance shit is extreme and bizzare. for everyone's safety and sanity, god and politics really shouldn't ever be mixed. it's my belief that both the congress and the idiot president need to be asked how they feel about allah as politico... and what good they've seen coming from the equivalent extremism of that quarter lately.

is it just my perception, or are most people out there really losing touch with reality?

some mash-ups (vocals of one song mixed over a totally non-congruent music track):

bring tha musik - public enemy ('bring tha noise') vs. m ('pop music')
love will freak us - missy elliot ('get ur freak on') vs. joy division ('love will tear us apart')

recent casualties of the CARP licensing fee ruling for webcasters:

somaFM
tag's trance trip

still up:

flaresound
bassdrive
the downbeat

looks like the best option for broadcasters to avoid the ridiculous copyright licensing fees is to move the streaming servers outside the u.s. until an appeal of the CARP decision is over, or there is a finding of RIAA anti-trust violations, or a new law is passed [such as u.s. rep. rick boucher's proposed MOCA].

fears of this process may be allayed by subjecting oneself to lots of belgian house music.
